To avoid wasting time...

- Make sure you pause the game when building or editing your hotel. (But don't forget to un-pause afterwards...).

If an object cannot be placed...

- Make sure there are no other objects in the way. (Eg. you can't place a window down if there is a picture frame in the way.)

- Make sure you have selected the room. You must click on the floor of a room before you can build in it.

When building a hotel room...

- Always leave enough space for sub rooms (such as bathrooms).

- Don't forget you can build in Perspective Mode. This is helpful because you can see exactly what the room will look like in 3D.

- You can 'walk around' your hotel in this mode.

- You can also build in Top View (Bird's Eye View). This is particularly useful when placing objects in a room, so you can see how much space there is to build in.

- You can zoom and rotate freely in this mode.

To increase the amount of customers in your hotel...

- Remember to include a variety of rooms. Don't just stick to one type of guestroom for example, make sure you have rooms with single beds, double beds, queen-sized beds and canopy beds.

- Make sure your guestrooms have suitable entertainment, such as a TV or hi-fi system.

Room sizes...

- Here are the requirements for each of the room grades. Remember, different customers prefer different sized rooms...

Required Room Satisfaction Required Room Size Required Sub-Room
Economy 0-29 At least 6.25 sq. meter -
Normal 30-49 At least 25 sq. meter -
